Crafts from a waste material

Every day in our house we find things and things that have already served their own. In most cases, their fate is predetermined - the nearest garbage container. But if you approach creativity in solving this problem, you can learn how to create original crafts from a waste material that does not cost anything! Firstly, you will get rid of garbage, and, secondly, give the kids a holiday, because for them making children's crafts from a waste material is an opportunity to get a new toy and show your imagination.

The most common throw material is plastic. A variety of bottles, disposable dishes, bags - all this "good" in every house there is more than enough.

Flowers made of plastic spoons

In this master class, we will talk about how easy it is to turn ordinary disposable spoons into voluminous handicrafts from waste material. So, let's get started.

First we prepare spoons. If they are made of thin plastic, then you can cut off the handles using scissors. A dense plastic can be heated over a candle, and then cut off. Then from the cardboard cut a circle with a diameter of about 4-5 centimeters, and glue it alternately with hot glue spoons, forming a flower. The core can be decorated with a ready-made flower made of plastic or polymer clay.

Pig piggy bank from a plastic bottle

We will need:

  1. On the side of the bottle make a hole of this size so that the coins are placed, but do not fall out when turning. Then screw the lid and cover the entire surface of the bottle with acrylic paint. From the rug, cut a spiral piece that will serve as a tail of a pig-piggy. Then glue it to the bottle.
  2. From the same material, cut the moth's ears, which should be glued to the head. We recommend that the second eye be cut, attaching the first to the rug. So you get two identical parts. Decorate the face, pasting the finished plastic eyes.
  3. Cut out a square of 6x6 centimeters from the rug. Fold the tube out of it and glue its edges. At the bottom, make an incision in the shape of a hoof. We need four such details.
  4. It remains to paste the legs to the pig, draw a patch, decorate the eyes with painted cilia, and the original piggy bank for your baby is ready.

Crafts from sticks from ice cream

Unusual ecological crafts made of natural cast-off material will be obtained if you collect a few dozen wooden sticks from ice cream or other desserts. The most simple - bookmarks. Take a few sticks and decorate them.

Of the same waste material, you can make a sun (the creation of the craft does not take more than 10-15 minutes). On the circle cut from a yellow cardboard simply glue the stick-rays, which before this, too, should be painted. Houses, pencil stands, birds, animals - from this waste material can make a huge number of various crafts!

Parents to note

Despite the fact that many types of abandoned material, which is used to create crafts, are environmentally friendly, it is impossible to leave a small child unattended during creativity. Wooden parts can cause splinters, and sharp scissors easily injure fingers. Pay attention to your child by joining an exciting process, and his fingers and eyes will be safe.
