If you want to add raisins to the filling, while the poppy is preparing, rinse it thoroughly, and fill it with ten hot (but not boiling) water, then drain the water and dry the raisins on the towel.

Dissolve and express the poppy in a mortar or grind it in the blender's container. As an option, you can skip it several times through a meat grinder.

At the final stage of the preparation of the poppy filling, we season the mass to taste with sugar, add raisins, crushed nuts (if desired) and mix.

First of all, let's do the test. To the yeast dissolved in warm milk, add 75 grams of flour and carefully mix the whisk until all the lumps are dissolved. We cover the vessel with an opaque cloth cut and set the minutes to forty in heat. Now mix in a separate dish chicken egg with sugar and salt, adding also vanillin and zest, and in another bowl, melt the butter. Mix the spoon with egg mixture and butter, and after that we sift wheat flour and produce kneading. At the final stage, we lubricate the hands with sunflower refined oil, in order to avoid the excessive addition of flour during the kneading and thus ensure the softness of the dough.

During the ripening of the dough prepare the poppy filling.

After the dough is in the warmth of an hour and a half and comes up, having increased at least twice, double it, lightly beat it, and then roll it out on a flour-dusted table until a layer about seven millimeters thick is obtained. On top of the same layer distribute the prepared poppy filling and decorate the product with roll, which we leave on an oiled baking sheet for another hour, turning the seam to the bottom for this.

Now we smear the surface of the roll with a beaten egg, sprinkle with dry poppy and put on for half an hour to bake, warming up for this oven to 185 degrees.

The thawed dough is rolled out, pre-dusted with flour, until a rectangular layer with a thickness of up to two millimeters is obtained, distribute a uniformly poppy filling on it and turn off the product with a roll. We cut it after this into fragments three centimeters wide, spread them on an oiled baking tray and leave in the heat for about twenty to thirty minutes, after which we move them to the oven, heated to 185 degrees, for twenty-five minutes.

From sugar and water, cook the syrup, boiling it for five minutes, and pour on them hot ruddy buns.
