Applique "Snowdrop"

There is no better gift for a mom or grandmother on March 8th than a handicraft or a postcard made for the joy of a favorite karapuza. And the best theme for spring crafts, of course, flowers, which became a symbol of the revival and renewal of nature - snowdrops. According to the ancient Slavic legend, it was Snowdrop who asked protection from the Sun, when the old woman Winter, united with Wind and Frost, decided not to let the beautiful Spring come to Earth.

There are many ways how to make a snowdrop with your own hands - this is a flat and three-dimensional application, crafts made of corrugated and plain paper, origami. In this article, we present to your attention several master classes on the production of artefacts of snowdrops made of paper.

Applique snowdrop for the youngest

We need:

• a sheet of white paper of a square shape;
• pencils;
• glue.

Manufacture:

• Let's fold a sheet of white paper diagonally and bend the petals.
• We paste our snowdrop on paper or a postcard, we will draw a stalk and leaves with pencils or markers. Snowdrop is ready!

Applique snowdrop made of corrugated paper

We need:

• paper corrugated green, white and blue colors;
• scissors;
• glue.

Manufacture:

1. We'll make a stalk, for this we cut out a strip of 20x2 cm from green paper and twist it into a flagellum.
2. For the leaves, we cut out from the green paper two strips measuring 10x1 cm.
3. For the petals of white and blue paper, we cut out three strips measuring 4x1 cm and give them a rounded shape on one side.
4. We paste our snowdrop on paper or a postcard.

Applique snowdrop "Messengers of Spring"

We need:

• paper corrugated green and white;
• scissors with a notched edge;
• glue.

Manufacture:

1. We make buds of snowdrops. To do this, cut the strip of corrugated paper 3.5x9 cm and cut it into two parts.
2. Screw a larger rectangle on the pencil, wrap tightly the free end and remove the workpiece.
3. We cut the edge of the workpiece with scissors with a serrated edge.
4. The smaller rectangle is folded three times and we give the shape of the petals.
5. We will wrap the petals around the core, squeeze at the base and spin.
6. Let's make our pedigree a stalk, for this we cut out a strip of 1x15 cm from green paper and wrap the base of the flower with it, we paste it. Rotating the flower, a clip from the strip of flagellum, until you get a stem 10-12 cm long. In case the stem leaves very thin, wrap it with another piece of paper.
7. Let's cut out the leaves for the snowdrops from a folded several times a sheet of green paper measuring 10x12 cm.
8. We depict the snow-powdered earth, for which purpose we will cut thinly white and brown paper.
9. We paste our snowdrops on paper or a postcard, or we will collect them in a bouquet, having tied it with a ribbon or a chain of corrugated paper.

We need:

• thick white paper;
• corrugated paper of green color;
• glue;
• scissors;
• ruler;
• wire.

Manufacture:

1. Let's make our petals snowdrops, for this we add from the squares of white paper the size of 4x4 cm modules, as in the photo. For each snowdrop, we need 3 modules.
2. Collect buds, for this we connect the extreme petals of each module, putting them one in the other, and glue the 3 modules together.
3. We make the stems for the snowdrops, for this we wrap the strips of corrugated paper with pieces of wire. At the end of each stem, we make a thickening and put a flower on it. Cut out the leaves from the same green paper and glue them to the stem.
4. We will collect a bouquet from snowdrops and put it in a vase.
