Roses floribunda: planting and care

The Danish rose breeder crossed a tea-hybrid and a polyanth rose and, as a result, a new species that inherited all the properties of the parents was called floribunda, which means "abundantly flowering." Planting a rose floribunda

Before planting, the roots of the seedlings must be lowered for 30 minutes into the liquid nutrient mixture. For the prevention of fungal diseases even before the bud budding or during the vegetative period, rose bush floribunda is treated with copper sulfate, Bordeaux fluid. If there is a spotting, the fall of leaves and buds, it is necessary to spray the bushes and the soil under them with special chemical preparations. And if you notice the aphids, a spider mite or a leaf-litter, you need to spray the bushes with an insecticide. A good effect gives settling in the rose garden of insect predators.

During the whole summer, roses should be regularly watered and fed. Under one bush it is necessary to pour out not less than one bucket of water. During the growth period, two fertilizing is done with a solution of Mullein or Nitrogen fertilizer. The last top dressing should be done in late August with phosphorus-potassium fertilizer. Before the beginning of fertilizing around the bushes make grooves and well spills them with water. Then add liquid fertilizer and a little more watered, then covered with earth.
