Waterproof laminate is manufactured by sealing the fiberboard with hot wax. This coating can be in water for up to six hours without changing its quality. Such material is not afraid of scratches and bumps.

Class of laminate for kitchen

When choosing a floor covering in the kitchen, you should also remember the load to which the floor covering will be exposed. Depending on this, the laminate is divided into three classes: 31, resistant to light load, 32, capable of enduring an average degree and 33, which can remain strong at the highest level of load. A higher class of laminate suggests that such a material is more wear-resistant, does not fear various damages, moisture and water. For the kitchen, 31 and 32 classes are the most suitable.
