1. Before we get to work, we buy vintage chalk paint, wax, brush, cosmetic petroleum jelly, wax candle, grinding bar and skins. In each house there will certainly be a dishwashing sponge, gloves, a piece of gauze and a waffle towel.
2. We cover the table with dark stain.
3. Cosmetic Vaseline selectively rub the convex parts of the table, where, in our opinion, the paint may peel with time. We will get a similar effect if we use a wax candle.
4. We paint the table with white paint, trying to apply it in one direction. The quality of the work depends on the brush, so it is better to use an art brush with thin villi.
5. To hide the dark stain, we paint the table again, adding a small amount of cream to the white paint.
6. Skin and grinding bar we achieve the effect of wear. The paint easily comes off in places where wax or petroleum jelly is applied. Work should be done until the surface under the hands becomes smooth. Very strong abrasion can be obtained with sandpaper.
7. We rub the wax into the surface of the table, we apply it with a napkin with a thin layer. If desired, the paint can be varnished, and then apply wax. Leave the product for 2 hours.
8. We polish the table with a waffle towel until we achieve a glossy gloss.
