How to make the planets of the solar system with their own hands?
To make a solar system for your own home, kindergarten or school, use the following step-by-step instruction:
- Take 8 different colored balloons and inflate them so that each of them is proportional to each other. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the real ratio of the dimensions of the planets
- Prepare the paste. To do this, combine 3 tablespoons of starch with 100 ml of cold water and mix well, and then add 400 ml of boiling water and stir again. Take care that there are no lumps.
- Slice the newspaper into strips and, dipping each of them into the finished paste, gently glue them balls.
- Stick the stripes over the entire surface of the balls, leaving only the area around the tails open. Completely complete 1 layer, allow the glue to dry, then repeat the procedure 2 more times.
- To make the balls dry faster, place them on the open door of the lighted oven.
- When everything is ready, gently puncture each ball around the tail and lower it, and then take it out of the workpiece. Cover the hole with newspaper strips.
- Apply a white primer to the "planets" and wait for it to dry completely.
- Prepare acrylic paint of various shades and apply it to the balls in several layers, and apply the desired texture to the sponge. At the very end, coat the surface of the balls.
- Make a circle for Saturn from cardboard and fasten the planet in it with glue and fixing strips. Your model of the solar system is ready!
