How to make soft ice cream at home?

This ice cream is prepared with the addition of cocoa and dark chocolate, and the sweetness is given to it not by ordinary sugar, but by maple syrup, which is characterized by a much more multifaceted taste. This dessert is ideal for use in its own form or for adding to coffee and cocktails.

Blend the hazelnuts with a blender to a consistency of peanut butter. This process will take a lot of time and you will have to periodically collect pieces of nuts from the walls of the bowl.

Transfer the nut oil to the saucepan, pour the cream and wait until the mixture starts to gurgle slightly. After that, add to the milk base pieces of chocolate. When the chocolate melts, pour the cocoa and mix very thoroughly.

Separately, beat the eggs with maple syrup and gently pour the cream warmed with cream, continuously whisking everything together. When the ice cream base becomes homogeneous, return it to a weak fire and cook until thick. Pour the ice cream into the ice cream maker.
