Each girl during the celebrations or matinees in kindergartens and schools dreams of becoming a real fairy. In addition to the dress, girls are not forgotten about such attributes as wings, crown and, of course, a magic wand. The latter, thanks to the famous story of Joanne Rowling, became popular with boys. Now at the costumed events you can meet not just Harry Potter. Magic wands for costumes are sold in stores, but in this article we will tell you how to make a magic wand at home.
Magic wand for the fairy own hands
Magic wands for fairies are, as a rule, small sticks decorated with flowers, bows, ribbons and asterisks. Girls like them very much, and you can make such a miracle yourself. To do this, you need:
- even wand (for example, for Chinese food);
- felt;
- needle and thread;
- sequins;
- glue;
- sequins;
- cotton wool;
- scissors and brush.
- From the felt we cut out three stars, the edges of one of them are cut off - this will be a pocket for the cherished desire. One whole asterisk and a workpiece for the pocket are lined with paillettes.
- Apply a brush with a stick of glue and sprinkle it with sequins. When the wand dries, glue the cotton wool onto its tip.
- All the stars are sewn together, not forgetting the pocket and leaving a slit for the wand. In the cut we insert a stick with cotton wool and seal it.

How to make a wooden wand
Make a magic wand, similar to the one that is often found in cartoons and fairy tales is very simple. To create it we need:
- wooden stick (you can take a real twig of the tree, it will be textured);
- a hot glue gun and glue itself;
- beads, beads or small grain;
- acrylic paints;
- brush.
- On the stick very carefully apply hot glue. If a branch of a tree is taken instead of an even rod, it must be cleaned first and, using sandpaper, remove any irregularities on the surface.
- At the blunt end of the future magic wand we glue several large beads. When the glue cools down to be touched, we form the pattern we need. To add additional texture, you can sprinkle it with beads or small crock before it is hot, while the glue is hot.
- After the shape of the magic wand has been made by us, we leave it to dry.
- The dried stick with a brush is painted in acrylic paint. For coloring, it is better to choose brown tones. After the paint has dried, our magic wand is ready!

How can I make a magic wand of paper
A wand, like Harry Potter, can be made of paper. For this we need:
- two sheets of A4 paper;
- double sided tape;
- a hot glue gun and glue itself;
- PVA glue;
- acrylic paints;
- brush;
- scissors;
- wet wipes.
- On a sheet of paper on a diagonal line, nearer to the corner, we paste a strip of double-sided scotch. Sheet rolled into the tube along the diagonal, reaching up to a strip of tape. Roll is necessary so that one end of the tube is sharper than the other. The remaining free part of the sheet with a brush lubricate the adhesive PVA and twist the tube to the end. Hold the tube with your fingers until the glue dries completely. Similarly, we come in with a second sheet of paper, making the tube thinner.
- After the tubes have dried, we put one into the other. This is to ensure that the future wand was strong.
- We remove excess paper from the ends of the stick and fill them with hot glue. From the outside, we attach the texture to the tube, applying the desired pattern with glue.
- When the glue dries, paint the stick with a brown acrylic paint.
- And now we'll make our wand enough to make it truly magical. Apply a liquid solution of black acrylic paint to the surface of the stick. Part of it is removed with a damp cloth. We do not need to rub in this case, we remove the excess paint, soaking it.
- On volumetric patterns we put golden acrylic paint. When it dries, repeat the procedure again with black paint. So we get an old magic wand.
