Salad "Basket" - a spectacular decoration of any festive table. In fact, you can form a basket from any salad, but we will share ideas for decoration and some interesting recipes.

Mushroom basket salad

Chicken fillet cook and divide into fibers with a fork. We boil the potatoes and cut them into cubes. In a deep bowl, mix the crushed cornichons, mushrooms and corn, add the prepared chicken, potatoes and fill it with mayonnaise. Ready salad can be served simply or put on crackers, but for a real mushroom salad you need a basket that is made of thin strips of dough, laid out on any fireproof form.

All the ingredients are sliced, chicken fillet boiled, rub half of all cheese, oyster mushrooms with onions. Salad we lay layers in any order, alternating layers of ingredients with a mayonnaise mesh. The topmost layers are abundantly lubricated with mayonnaise and covered with a dense blanket from finely chopped greens.

We turn to the decoration: the boiled carrots and beets are cut into thin ribbons with the help of a vegetable cutter - these will be petals of flowers, thin blocks of olives will serve as stamens, and from the thin layers of cheese you can put the shape of a basket.

Cheese baskets are very simple to prepare, and you can fill them with almost any salad you like, we chose the classic "Caesar", but made some changes to it.

Let's start with cheese baskets: any hard cheese is rubbed on a small grater and put on paper for baking, smeared with a small amount of oil. Each of the baskets should lie on a separate piece of paper! We put the sheets in the oven and wait until the cheese starts to melt, as soon as it happens, we take out our future baskets and put each of them on the bottom of the glass, oiled. When the cheese cools down and starts to keep in shape - you can easily get rid of the paper.

To prepare a classic "Caesar" you need to cut white bread cubes and put it to dry in the oven lightly watering with vegetable oil. While preparing the rusks, you can start refueling: in a small container we mix lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, vinegar, pressed garlic and spices. With this dressing, we water the pre-stripped chicken fillets, chopped boiled egg, pepper and torn lettuce leaves. We put "Caesar" in cheese baskets, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, grated "Parmesan" and eat with appetite.

If you do not want to waste time on cheese baskets, then any offered salads can be served in wafer baskets, it will turn out not less delicious. Bon Appetit!
