Psilo-balm is an excellent antiallergic drug for topical application. In just a few hours with it, you can reduce the swelling and flushing of adjacent tissues, and also remove the itching, since the diphenhydramine entering into its sucker reduces the permeability of the vascular wall to the capillary.
Indications for use Psilo-balsam
Gel Psilo-balm is prescribed for severe burning and hyperemia of the skin after insect bites, with first degree burns (solar incidents) and allergic skin irritation, but this drug will not help with itching, which is caused by cholestasis.
Application Psilo-balm helps cope with irritation and even severe burning sensation to patients suffering from skin diseases, for example:
- itchy eczema;
- contact dermatitis (which arose after contact with plants);
- urticaria ;
- chicken pox.
The drug also has a cooling and a slight local anesthetic effect, and its special gel base perfectly protects the skin, leaving no visible trace on it.
Method of use and contraindications Psilo-balsam
Ointment Psilo-balm is intended exclusively for external use. It is applied a thin layer on a well-cleaned skin and easily rubbed. The duration of the course of treatment with the drug is determined only by the doctor individually for each patient, depending on the nature of the disease or the degree of skin lesion. Most often it is applied 3-4 times a day. After applying Psilo-balsam, you should wash your hands well.
The gel is well tolerated by patients, but in people with hypersensitivity, in rare cases development of a skin allergic reaction can be observed. In this case, you must immediately stop using it.
Psylo-balm is not a hormonal drug and has virtually no contraindications. It should not be used only by those who are hypersensitive to the substances in its composition, as well as those patients who are treated with drugs containing diphenhydramine.
It is not recommended to use Psilo-balm from acne, on extensive skin surfaces, during pregnancy, during lactation, and also for children under 2 years old.
Analogues of Psylo-balsam

Panthenol
This gel, as well as Psilo-balm, will perfectly cope with the removal of itching and swelling with pemphigous dermatitis, thermal and sunburn.
Zinctal
Analogue Psilo-balsam, which is best used for inflammatory skin conditions. It is produced only in the form of tablets, but with skin diseases is indispensable, as it promotes the development and growth of cells.
This solution instead of Psilo-balsam can be used for burns and slowly healing skin defects.
Solcoseryl
Stimulates regeneration and restores the nutrition of tissues, so they can be used instead of Psilo-balm to relieve the itch with bedsores and trophic ulcers.
Balsamic liniment
Has excellent antiseptic (disinfecting) properties, can be used for skin diseases.
Fukorcin
It is best to use it as an analog of a healing gel for burning and swelling, which appear after skin lesions (wounds, abrasions, scratches).
Ichthyol ointment
This analogue of Psilo-balsam is used for local therapy in patients with eczema or burns.
