Such a moisture-loving plant as a primrose, of course, likes and good watering. It should be done regularly, but it is important to ensure that the earthen lump is wetted evenly, and the water does not stagnate in the pot.
To avoid a dangerous overflow, you should properly prepare the pot before planting - pour a sufficient layer of drainage into the bottom in the form of expanded clay, pieces of foam or brick. Land for primulas will require a loose, consisting of humus, peat and sand and then it will be hygroscopic and water stagnation should not be feared.
When to change primroses?
The best time to change the pot or the separation of primroses is summer-early autumn, because before this time the plant is actively blooming and undesirable to disturb it at such a crucial moment. It is advisable not to spend bushes more than once every 3-4 years.
