Types of personality disorders

  3. Group C. An obsessive-compulsive, avoiding and dependent personality disorder.

Personality disorder - symptoms

People suffering from a mental disorder of personality, often, are inadequate to the problems that have arisen. This may result in the fact that it is difficult for them to build harmonious relations with family members, etc. Usually, mental disorders of the personality find their manifestation in adolescence or in early adulthood. Such disorders are classified by severity. Basically they are found in a light form.

Treatment of personality disorder

In order to reduce anxiety, depression, etc., the symptoms of personality disorders use medication. Depending on the type of mental disorders, appropriate drugs are prescribed.

To correct inadequacy in the behavior of a person, the course of his thoughts, patients are prescribed psychotherapy sessions. Changes in the behavior of the patient are usually observed after a year, and success in interpersonal relationships - after many years.
