Often different fruits are used as the main flavoring product for the preparation of various desserts. It should be understood that fruits are the best ingredients of such desserts, because they contain natural substances useful for the human body: vitamins and trace elements, organic acids, plant fibers and natural sugars.

In addition, caramelized pears can be used to make more complex confectionery dishes. To prepare pears in caramel, many varieties, including winter ones, are suitable, but nevertheless it is not worth choosing soft autumn pears for caramelization, these sweet fruits are delicious in themselves, without any culinary procedures being performed on them.
Pear in caramel - recipe
Ingredients:
- pears are not soft - 2 pcs .;
- butter, natural - 50 g;
- sugar - 2-3 tbsp. spoons;
- water - 150 ml;
- wine dessert white (vermouth, martini, sherry, Madera, nutmeg) or cognac - 30 ml;
- lemon - 0,5 pcs.
Preparation
In a dry frying pan, melt sugar into caramel with minimal heat. Add the butter and mix. Quickly cut the pears in half, remove the seed boxes and all that is superfluous. Sprinkle with lemon juice from the side of the cut. Gently pour a mixture of water and wine into the pan and mix (water is better to take hot). We put halves of pears on a frying pan with a cut downwards.
Boil the halves of the pears for 5 minutes, then turn and cook as much as the same. The sauce should thicken. Turn off the heat and cool the pears in syrup. We spread the halves of the pears into serving servings and poured the syrup in which they were brewed. We serve pears in caramel with cream ice cream (plombir, chocolate plombir). You can serve this dessert, gin and tonic with a mint leaf, homemade lemonade, non-tempering green tea, mate or rooibos.
Pie with pears in caramel
Ingredients:
- pears - 3 pcs. medium size;
- butter - 50 g;
- sugar - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- water 100 ml;
- white dessert wine or brandy - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
For the test:
- Wheat flour - about 1 cup;
- corn starch - 4 tbsp. spoons;
- kefir - 1 glass;
- sour cream or cream - 100 ml;
- Chicken egg - 2 pcs .;
- sugar - 100 g;
- nuts chopped walnuts or hazelnuts (kernels) - about 1 cup;
- soda - 1 pinch;
- vanilla - 1 pinch;
- brandy - 1 tbsp. a spoon;
- butter.
Preparation
Prepare the caramelizing syrup in a frying pan (previous recipe, see above). Pears will be cut into small slices no more than 1 cm thick and sprinkled with lemon juice. Boil the pear slices in syrup for 5-8 minutes on low heat. While the pear in the caramel is cooling in a frying pan, we prepare the dough for the pie.
We turn on the fire in the oven - let it warm up.
Mix flour with starch and sift into a working bowl. We add eggs, sugar, sour cream, kefir, soda, vanilla and brandy.
To serve such a pie is best with tea, with hot chocolate or compotes, coffee is not very appropriate, it will interrupt the refined taste of this wonderful dessert.
