Yesterday the prince of Sweden celebrated his birthday. Karl Philip turned 37 years old. The royal court noted this event, according to tradition, the publication of photographs of the birthday man with his family - his wife and a small son, named Alexander, who was born on April 19.
A series of official portraits
The photo session took place at Drottningholm Castle. In the photos the newly-made parents take turns holding the first-born, who is sleeping sweetly, not reacting to what is happening. In the frame there is also their domestic pet - the dog Siri, who looks importantly into the camera. The pictures were sunny, light and light.
In the comments Karl Philip and Sofia, who were married in June 2015, expressed their gratitude to all who congratulated them on the birth of their son.

The Tale of Cinderella
Prince met Sophia Hellkvist in 2009, relaxing in a nightclub. Young people happened to meet each other after a year, feelings broke out between them. The girl was not an aristocrat and the choice of her son did not arouse delight from the Swedish monarchs. However, Karl Philip did not greatly care about the opinion of crowned relatives. In 2014, he made a favorite offer and the prince's parents looked at the potential daughter-in-law with other eyes, taking her into the family. It all ended in a grand wedding in Stockholm.
