The boy's parents, Prince Carl Philipp and his wife Princess Sophia, hurried to please their fans with this news by publishing the first snapshot of the newborn on the official resource of the royal family.

The photo that Karl Philip and Sofia decided to publish was taken at the time of discharge from the hospital where the birth was taking place.
