The maintenance of parrots at home can be a difficult task if they are related to some rare or exotic species. But there are several species of these birds that adapt well to life in the home, are easily tamed and trained.
Small pets parrots
Types of domestic parrots vary depending on their size. So for pets of small size are:
- Wavy parrots are the most famous kind of parrots for home keeping. They are easy to tame, have a huge range of colors, their cries are not too harsh and many like. Breeding them at home is also not difficult.
- Corella is an Australian species of parrot, the distinctive feature of which is a tuft on the head, giving the bird a fervent look. Well tamed, but does not have great learning abilities, so it's very rare to see a talking parrot of this kind.
- Non-lovers . Unobtrusive, lively, mobile and playful birds of small size with beautiful coloring. Large domestic parrots
- Jaco is a parrot, known for all his ability to speak, memorize phrases and onomatopoeia. They are very attached to their master, however they are sensitive and vulnerable.
- Amazons are large parrots, very playful and cheerful, well-tamed and not as sensitive to changing the situation as parrots of the species Jaco. They have good memory and perfectly simulate various sounds.
- Ara . Parrots of this species are distinguished by their large size (up to 90 cm) and life expectancy (40-80 years). These parrots are very bright and beautiful.
- Cockatoo . Beautiful, large birds with moderate learning abilities. Good companions.
