In the center of Kuala Lumpur is the Menara Telekom building, which is the headquarters of Telecom-Malaysia and a haven for a huge number of offices and institutions. The history of Menara-Telecom
The construction of the tower lasted 3 years, from 1998 to 2001. The contractor was Hijjas Kasturi Associates. The height of the tower is 310 m, and this is neither more nor less than 55 floors. In 2015, the Menara-Telecom building was the 83rd height in the world. The shape of the skyscraper resembles a bamboo shoot - this is a traditional national dish . This idea of Menara-Telecom is due to the sculptor Latiff Mohidin and the work "The Escape of Bamboo", known to every Malays. The roof is crowned with a bowl, which serves as a place for landing helicopters.

How to get to Menara-Telecom?

The distance is 1 km. Since the tower is located in the green park zone, you can not get close to it on the transport , and therefore you will have to walk a little.
You can get to Menara-Telecom by taking a taxi or minibas (they go every 15 minutes). In addition, towards the telecentre there is a monorail Bukit Nanas. You can also leave from the metro station Dan Wandi Kelana Jaya.
