Can pregnant women eat cod liver?

- low blood pressure, a tendency to hypotension;
- an overabundance in the body of vitamin D and calcium.
One way or another, do not abuse this product, because even in the absence of contraindications, a large amount of cod liver during pregnancy can bring not only good, but also harm.
According to some clinical trials, the consumption of a large amount of canned food of this kind during pregnancy can provoke the formation of malformations of the fetus. That is why the daily norm of this product, permissible for expectant mothers, should not be more than 100 grams.
