Lamps for plants

In order for plants to normally blossom, grow and develop properly, they need light in sufficient quantity. Houseplants are not very lucky and they often suffer in this regard, because in the summer they have one-sided lighting, and in winter they practically do not receive direct sunlight.

But this is not an excuse to deprive yourself of the pleasure of creating your own green garden in the apartment. To do this, just a little: just create the right artificial lighting for your plants - by this you completely compensate for the lack of sunlight. And lamps for indoor plants in this you will help.

Fluorescent lamps for plants

Ordinary fluorescent lamps, they are popularly called daylight lamps, have been very popular among amateur gardeners for decades. Although conventional lamps with their own radiation spectrum are not quite suitable for plants. More suitable lamps for plant illumination are phyto-lamps or special-purpose lum-fields. Similar lamps exist for algae, thanks to which you can create the ideal lighting for plants in the aquarium.

Sodium luminaire for plants

The sodium lamp is more efficient, it can illuminate huge areas: hothouses, winter gardens and greenhouses. Of course, for closed, small rooms they are not suitable. These luminaires have high light output and bright light will severely cut eyes, which is why for living quarters such a lamp does not fit. Although you can try to use it on the balcony or loggia.

Diode lamps for plants

Lamps for plant growth are also diode. These lamps at the moment are the most modern among all. Ice-lamps for plants do not heat at all, electricity is consumed in small quantities, and almost 50,000 hours can work.

Growing plants is very interesting, especially when you have assistants in the LED light. But remember that for the proper development of the plant it needs to be provided with the correct light spectrum, i.e. red and blue, so choose lamps from red and blue LEDs, preferably in a ratio of 8: 2.

After you are able to establish the correct lighting for your plants, the beauty of your collections will absolutely not depend on the vagaries of the weather or the presence of "right" windows.
