Wedding veil - the element is so touching and individual that sometimes you want to make it yourself. It seems that if you sew it yourself, it will be unique and unique, like the whole bride on this magical day of marriage. In our master class we will tell you how to sew a wedding veil with your own hands.
We sew the veil ourselves
In this article we will show you a master class on sewing a net veil. For her you will need such materials:
- mesh or tulle, about 20x30 cm;
- light ribbon;
- cardboard for the flower pattern;
- light natural fabric for a flower;
- needle, thread, scissors;
- metal comb or barrette "crocodile".
It is desirable that the comb merge in color with a hint of bride hair. In principle, instead of a comb, you can use several invisible ones. Needle for sewing netting must be sharp and thin, and thread - in tone to the grid. When all the materials are available, we begin to make a wedding attribute.
Step one
We take a piece of mesh in hand, retreat along its edges about 2-3 cm and make tiny stitches along the whole edge, making sure that the stitches are even and with even intervals.
Next - carefully pull the thread, collecting the edge of the shaft in a bundle. The resulting bundle is sewn once more and fixed with a knot.
Step Two
After that, we take the tape and put the netted veil on the middle of it, bend the tape from both sides and gently stitch it - our mesh is firmly fixed on the tape.
We take a hairpin and clamp a small piece of tape between its teeth, sew our ribbon with a bundle of veil to it. Make seams on both sides of the barrette.

We sew the reticulated bundle to the ridge from its back side, if we want to make it not on a barrette, namely on a scallop.
Step Three
When a veil is attached to a barrette or a comb, it remains only to decorate it with the help of flowers from the fabric. To do this, apply a cardboard pattern to the fabric and cut out several elements of the flower. Sew them together as in the photo and attach it to the barrette. Fata is ready!
