The proposed set of materials is taken to sew a suit for a five-year-old boy. So, we need:

• red monophonic paste;
• gold tape 2 m;
• dense material for epaulettes (can be replaced even with cardboard);
• gold buttons;
• gold cord 1 m thick;
• gold fringe;
• thread-needle-scissors.

As you can see, to make a hussar costume we did not take complex patterns of the jacket (although you can sew and decorate the jacket for this master class).

How to sew a carnival costume for a hussar: a master class

1. We'll take care of epaulettes. We will cut out the appropriate shoulder straps and sweep them around the perimeter. On the edge of the epaulettes we will attach a fringe.
2. Carefully sew the epaulettes to the weeping of our pait. It is better that she was on the child, so that the shoulders lay flat.
3. Next, make 3 stripes from the tapes, placing them in the middle of the pait at the same distance.
4. From the golden cord we turn off such trefoils and sew them along the edges of the ribbons on the pait.
5. In the middle of each trefoil we sew a gold button.

7. We will borrow a cap - a shako. We do it on a simple pattern of a cap-cylinder with a visor. To do this, you can use a red or black cardboard or a dense fabric that will hold the shape. A ready hat can be sewn with ribbons and decorated at will.
