How to make a frame for a lamp shade?
Before making a lampshade for the lamp, we will make a skeleton for it. The frame consists of two rings of larger and smaller diameters. These rings are connected by posts and a base for a shade. The type of lampshade determines the shape of the pillars and rings. If the rings of the same size are joined by straight vertical studs and wrapped around a cloth, you will get a lampshade with a cylindrical shape. To make a skeleton for a "concave empire," the upper ring should be of smaller diameter, and the posts are smoothly bent inwards. For each frame, you can use the fixtures for the lamp fixture. For a desk lamp, the lampshade is attached to its stand by the ring-hanger with spacers, the lampshades of the hanging lamps are fixed to a special fixture.

- winding, hold the thread in tight (strained threads are the main thing to achieve at this stage);
- when you wind several layers, you can cut the thread;
- further threads need to be impregnated with glue, the more carefully you do it, the stronger the lampshade will be;
- when the threads dry well, break the ball and gently cut out the place where the end of the ball was fixed;
- Through this cutout you can stretch the cord with the lamp.
