The drug Hartil - a drug that belongs to the group of ACE inhibitors. It is produced in the form of tablets. This drug can be with a different content of ramipril - an active active ingredient. That's why before applying Hartil you need to consult a doctor to determine the correct dosage correctly.
Indications for use Hartil
Due to the components of active components, this drug has antihypertensive and cardioprotective effects. Indications for the use of Hartil are:
- severe arterial hypertension;
- heart failure (chronic form);
- heart failure, which occurred after acute infarction in patients with stable hemodynamics;
- diffuse kidney disease (chronic forms);
- nephropathy of the diabetic type.
Hartil in patients with infarction quickly limits the area of necrosis. Thanks to this, they improve the life expectancy. In addition, the use of Hartil's medication is indicated for those who have a risk of developing recurrent myocardial infarctions. It significantly reduces the risk of developing this disease and reduces the severity of virtually all manifestations of heart failure.
Hartil tablets have been used in the prevention of "coronary death" and stroke in patients with IHD. They can be taken even by those patients who have suffered aortocoronary bypass surgery or percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty.
How to take Hartil?
According to the instructions for the use of Hartil tablets should be taken orally, without chewing, and squeezed water (at least 0.2 liters). The time of eating does not matter.
The dosage of Hartil is determined depending on the disease. For example, with arterial hypertension, a single dose of the drug is 2.5 mg per day. But when heart failure is recommended to take Hartil at 1.25 mg daily.
If necessary, the total daily dose can be doubled, but the maximum dosage for any patient is 10 mg.
After applying Hartil, side effects may occur. Many patients have orthostatic hypotension and lower blood pressure. In rare cases, there is arrhythmia and impaired circulation of organs. Also, with the regular intake of Hartil, one can observe:
- decrease in the volume of urine;
- nervous excitability;
- weakness;

- unstable hemodynamics;
- arterial hypotension;
- pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Also, contraindications for this drug are renal failure and hyperaldosteronism primary. With caution and only under medical supervision should take Hartil elderly patients, children and adolescents (under 18 years of age), because in these cases, such pills may not be effective and unsafe.
