  4. Birth traumas of newborns that lead to impaired breathing, sucking, thermoregulation, etc.
  5. Physiological jaundice of newborns - in this case, glucose is used to improve the efficiency of the liver, its antitoxic functions, increase the rate of excretion of bilirubin.

Is it possible and how to give a newborn glucose?

A solution of glucose for newborns can be used only for medical reasons, without the recommendation of a doctor, the use of glucose is not allowed. Depending on the condition of the child, the drug is injected through the probe, intravenously (via a dropper), or given as a drink. How to give a baby a newborn glucose depends on the severity of the sucking reflex and the ability to keep food (from a bottle or spoon).
