The "3 table" diet is the invention of the doctor Pevzner, who developed diets for people with various diseases. The third table is designed specifically for those who suffer from bowel disease, constipation and are recommended for mild aggravation or outside of it.

The main goal of such nutrition is to restore the natural functions of the intestine and metabolic processes in this area. To do this, the food system includes all products that enhance peristalsis and promote the cleansing of the intestines - primarily vegetables, fruits , bread, cereals and sour-milk products. The second important aspect of the diet is the exclusion of foods that provoke the processes of fermentation and putrefaction in the intestine.

In total it is supposed to include in the diet up to 100 g of protein, up to 90 g of fats and up to 400 g of carbohydrates, which gives a total caloric value of not more than 3000 kcal. For a day it is necessary to eat no more than 15 g of salt and drink at least 1.5 liters of water. Take food 4-6 times a day in small portions, and, the morning begins with honey water, and the evening ends with yogurt.
