Our children like to reincarnate in various fairy-tale and cartoon characters. Unquestionable leaders of children's images are princes and princesses , kings and queens. And, by the way, the crown is considered an obligatory attribute, without which no crowned person can manage. It is this accessory that has to be created for the mother, so that the beloved child would be enough. Therefore, we suggest to learn how to make a crown of felt.
Crown of felt with own hands - necessary materials
To make a crown of felt should be stocked with the following materials:
- cut of felt;
- scissors;
- with a pencil;
- a piece of paper;
- rubber band;
- thread in the tone of the felt;
- with safety pins.

When all the materials are in your hands, you can proceed to create a crown of felt:
- Print on paper or draw a crown outline yourself, cut out a pattern. You can easily use the pattern proposed below for making a crown of felt.
- Fold the felt in half and attach the edge of the pattern to the fold, transfer the contour and cut the part along the lines.
- Fold the folded felt - you have the first workpiece.
- Put it on a rectangular cut of felt of suitable sizes, secure with English pins.
- Connect the workpiece to the cut of the felt with the machine seam along the bottom, leaving a margin of 3-5 mm.
- Then you need to gently and not hurrying to stitch the upper, carved, part of the future crown.
- The sides of the blanks do not join.
- After the end of sewing with scissors it is necessary to cut out the excess, having receded from the edge the same 3-5 mm. The crown is almost ready!
- In order to make your work better on the child's head, we recommend sewing a small piece of rubber to the edges. We insert it into the holes formed by the uncrossed edges of the crown and secure with pins.
- Then we add it.
- That's all! If there is a desire, the crown can be additionally decorated with "precious stones" - round or diamond-shaped details from a felt of a different color.
