Compote of cranberries for the winter

Compote of frozen lingonberry for the winter without sterilization

Ingredients:

  1. We take the frozen cowberries from the freezer and put them in a deep bowl and give them time to naturally defrost.
  2. Next, we drain all the thawed water from the cranberries, and move the berries to a pan with a volume of at least 4 liters.
  3. In the same tank, pour in the water and put it on the hotplate plate.
  4. When the water in the saucepan boils and the berries float on its surface, then we pour the sugar here. After that, we continue cooking compote on the stove for another 5 minutes.
  5. A glass container, 3 liters in volume, is sterilized about 3 minutes above the steam.
  6. Then hot boiled compote of frozen berries cranberries pour into a jar and cork for the winter.

Compote of apples and cowberry - a simple recipe

Ingredients:

Preparation

  1. Very carefully we are sorting out the fresh berries of red lingonberry, while separating the tails and discarding the spoiled fruits.
  2. Then we wash it together with juicy apples in a lot of cold water.
  3. Apple trees are simply wiped with a towel, while we give the cowberry time to dry out. While they are dried, we cut apples into 1.5 centimeter slices, from which we carefully cut out the cores.
  4. In a bottle, thrice scalded with boiling water, we put all the prepared fruit with berries.
  5. In a roomy pot, pour out the drinking water and boil it on the gas stove, a couple of minutes. Fill this boiling water with a selection of fruit and berry and let it stand for 15 minutes.
  6. We merge the slightly changed color of the water and put it again on the burner.
  7. When there are signs of boiling, pour small sugar into it and cook the sweet syrup for a couple of minutes.
  8. We pour it back into a glass container with apples and cranberries, and then immediately cork it.
  9. For reliability put the compote under a warm plaid for 15-18 hours.
