Charlotte recipes exist innumerable. The universal delicacy is perfectly combined not only with apples, as the classic recipe claims, but also with other berries and fruits, for example, apricots.

Bread Charlotte with apples and apricots

This elementary recipe is created especially for those who do not know how, or do not want to mess around with the test. Instead of the usual test for charlottes, in this recipe we use simple white toast bread.

The oven is heated up to 180 ° С. Lubricate the baking dish (diameter - 20 cm) with oil.

Dried apricots in a saucepan with 70 grams of sugar, and then poured all the water. Cook the syrup for about 2-3 minutes until the sugar crystals dissolve. Then we put in the saucepan slices of apples peeled from seeds and continue to cook the syrup for another 8-10 minutes or until the apples become soft.

Mix the cinnamon with the remaining sugar. We cut the crust from the toast bread, and crumb the butter with oil and sprinkle with cinnamon mixture. We spread the bread on the base of the mold and its walls overlap. We fill the bread bowl with apricot-apple mixture and put the charlotte in the oven. Bake the dish for 30-35 minutes, grease the top of the pie with jam and leave in the oven for another 5 minutes. We serve charlotte, sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Lubricate the 20-cm form for baking with oil. Apricots and plums cut in half and extract from them bones. From apples, remove the core with seeds and cut them into thin plates. Sugar is mixed with 75 ml of water in a saucepan and heated on medium heat until the crystals dissolve, after which we hold the syrup until it turns into golden caramel.

At the bottom of the prepared form pour out the caramel and distribute on top of it pieces of apples, plums and peaches.

For the dough, beat the soft butter with sugar until white and airy. We add to the oil mixture 1 egg at a time, without stopping whipping. We sift the flour with baking powder, add almonds and start pouring the dry mixture to the beaten oil. Add vanilla and milk to the finished dough, then pour it over the fruit base in the form.

We bake a charlotte for 50 minutes, after cooking, we cool for about 15 minutes, turn it over on a dish and pour the top with liquid honey.
