Syrup cetrine - indications for use
Children are traditionally prescribed a drug in the form of syrup in the following cases:
- exacerbation of chronic allergic rhinitis - permanent or having seasonal manifestations;
- urticaria , for example, provoked by taking previously unfamiliar food or medicine;
- chronic conjunctivitis - exacerbation;
- atopic dermatitis and other allergic diseases, which produce pronounced skin reactions;
- insect bites, accompanied by progressive swelling and severe itching.

Cetrin - dosage for children
The drug does not give babies up to 2 years, because the relevant studies have not been carried out.
Children under the age of 6 years are prescribed syrup in the following doses:
- 2-5 years - half a teaspoon of syrup once a day;
- from 6 years - 5 ml of syrup.
If necessary, the dose may be increased at the doctor's discretion.
Cetrin - contraindications
The medication is not prescribed for children younger than 24 months, and also in cases when there is an individual intolerance to its components. Use with caution for children with kidney disease.
