Christmas wreath

Many traditions for the celebration of Christmas come to us from the West. For example, the tradition to decorate the doors of houses for this bright holiday with a Christmas wreath, which you can both buy and make with your own hands. Making Christmas wreaths is quite complicated, but at the same time it is entertaining, because it opens up space for imagination. You can weave a Christmas wreath, as from twigs of coniferous trees, and from tinsel, paper and even beads.

Christmas wreath of pine sprigs

To make classic Christmas wreaths, you will need twigs of pine (or other coniferous wood), 2 types of wire (thick for a base and thin), scissors, a knife, glue, tinsel, fur-tree toys.

1. We take a thick wire and make from it a ring of the necessary diameter. This will be the frame for our wreath, if the wire is not very thick, you can make several turns from it.
2. We cut pine branches about 25 cm long.
3. We attach them to the frame by means of a thinner wire.
4. We decorate the wreath with ribbon or tinsel, wrapping a wreath around it, and at the bottom we tie a bow, so that the bow keeps its shape, fixing its edges with glue. Also twigs can be decorated with Christmas toys, gilt cones.

Christmas wreath of beads

Very much like handmade beads, but can hardly imagine how you can make a Christmas wreath from your beads yourself? In fact, this is not very difficult, if you follow the diagram shown in the figure. For example, consider how to make a small Christmas wreath, which you can decorate, for example, a Christmas tree. But if you have enough patience and beads, then your wreath can be much more. It will require a base - a wooden or wire circle, green and gold beads, green bugles, 3 gold beads larger, a line or nylon thread and a needle for beads.

1. We string the beads and bugles on the line, guided by the drawing (a).
2. We braid the bead with a bead, as shown in figure (b).
3. Plait a bow of gold beads, according to the figure (c), and decorate it with beads.

Christmas wreath of paper

To make Christmas wreaths, it is not necessary to take beads or spruce branches, you can glue together a Christmas wreath made of paper. For this we will need a colored paper of two contrasting colors (traditionally take green and red), scissors, glue and toys, cones, beads or sequins for decoration.

1. Cut out of paper 12 rectangles: 6 green and 6 red. Size choose yourself, but keep in mind that the length of the rectangle should be 2 times the width.
2. Fold the rectangle along.
3. Bend the edges of the rectangle inward - get "ears" of rectangular triangles.
4. Fold our sheet in half (in width), leaving the "ears" inside.
5. Put all the rectangles in this way.
6. We paste, alternating colors, one figure into another.
7. We attach a ribbon to the wreath, for which we will hang on the door or the wall.
8. Wreath is ready, it remains to decorate it, according to your taste.

The wreath can be made from ordinary colored paper or from a design with interesting patterns. Also it can be decorated with paper flowers and tinsel.

Christmas wreath on the fridge

Create a holiday mood in the kitchen will help not only traditional festive dishes, but also a cute wreath, placed on the refrigerator. To make it, you need tinsel, tape and a magnet. Twist the tinsel into a small ring and attach it to the magnet. Such wreaths can be slightly decorated, but only slightly, otherwise the magnet will not hold. Although, if you like large sizes, you can do without a magnet and fix the wreath and decorations to it with scotch tape.
