Since March 2015, Shannen Doherty has bravely struggled with breast cancer, plunging into a complex process of treatment. In an uneasy period, the actress was supported by her husband and friends, - doctors are doing everything possible to rehabilitate the Hollywood actress.
In February last year, Shannen Doherty underwent numerous examinations and confirmed her most terrible fears - oncology. Despite the frightening diagnosis, the actress was surrounded from the very beginning by the love and support of her family. In Instagram, she shared her experiences, words of gratitude for sympathy and support. She wrote under one of her photos:
"Oncology is not a sentence, but an opportunity to understand who is with you!"
The actress did not shut herself up at such a difficult time, but was open to communication and acceptance of help. In her interviews, she was frank and confessed that she was terribly afraid and was trying to appreciate everything that was happening to her now.

Struggle at the cost of life
A single-sided mastectomy (removal of the mammary gland) was the result of a struggle for life. Doctors were forced to admit that the disease did not recede, but spread to the lymph nodes and beyond. At this point, it's time to apply a course of chemotherapy.
Male actress Kurt Ivarinko tirelessly follows her and supports. Shannen admitted that his presence allowed to pass a painful path easier. In one of the interviews, the actress said that it is difficult for her to cope with anxiety about the future:
"The most terrible thing is how the changes will affect the people that you cherish and love."
