The uniqueness of the waterfall

The waterfall Arkoiris is located on the outskirts of a huge plateau of Kaparu in wild, untouched by the man of the jungle. This gives it even more brightness and romanticism. The state authorities of Bolivia , so as not to violate such virgin harmony, did not begin to build special roads to the waterfall. Noisy flow of cool water of Arcoiris descends from a height of 88 m, and its width reaches almost 50 m.

Arcoiris is not accidentally called "iridescent waterfall". The fact is that after lunch the sun's rays are refracted in the transparent water of the stream and create a bright multicolored rainbow. Such a spectacle can be observed for quite a long time. The very waterfall Arkoiris and the park, on whose territory this miracle of nature is located, are protected by the state. And since 2000 the reserve with all its sights has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
