When do peonies blossom in Russia?
First of all, according to the terms of flowering, peonies are of three types:
- early;
- average;
- later.
It depends on this when the peonies are in blossom. So, the early ones usually start to blossom from the first days of June. The average pick up the baton by June 15-20. And in late varieties buds appear only by the end of June, so that their blooming may drag on to the middle, and even end of July.
