- They always began to sow from their own homes. Parents gave money to the boys and only after that they walked around the village;
- after the house first of all visited relatives, godmothers and close friends;
- sown with grain, millet or rice. Croups acted as a ward of housing, so he was not swept out of the house for a while.
How to sow?
It is useful to know not only what number to sow, but also how to do it. In the olden times, the young men took a pair of mittens for this occupation. One was filled with grain, and the second was used to add the received gifts. You can use two small bags instead of mittens.
What does the site look like? A company of guys is entering the house, dressed in folk costumes. They scatter the grain around the room and sing songs, for example: "I sow, I weave, I sow, and I congratulate Happy New Year." You can think of other songs.
If you do not know what day you need to sow, and suddenly the sowers come to you, you need to give them gifts. As gifts, baked goods, various sweets and fruits, small money and coins are suitable. Often, children are the seeders, so you can also give toys: soap bubbles, cars.
The more scattered grains in your house, the more prosperous and happier the year will be.
