Topiary is a small tree, the crown of which is made in the form of a ball. He is also called the tree of happiness. Topiary can be made from any materials: stones, paper, flowers (living and artificial), satin ribbons. It will be original in the interior of the topiary of coffee beans.
How to make a topiary with your hands from coffee: a master class
In order to make the coffee topiary by yourself, you need to prepare the following materials:
- one hundred gram of roasted coffee beans;
- children's non-slip;
- brush for whitewash;
- plastic ball from the "dry" pool for children with a diameter of 9 cm;
- scissors;
- thread of brown color;
- two glues of transparent color: super-glue and universal;
- two elastic bands for money;
- a glass of gypsum, cement or sand;
- a tree branch with a length of at least 2 cm and a length of 20 cm (it is desirable to choose a straight twig without knots);
- a rope-twine in length of 50 sm.
If the plastic ball could not be found, then you can crumple the newspaper in a tight ball or use a tennis ball.
It is necessary to follow the step-by-step instructions to make the coffee tree of happiness of topiary:
- We take a plastic ball and use a pair of scissors to make a small hole in which a tree branch will be inserted later.
- We disassemble the brush for whitewashing: remove the ropes and stretch the strands of bast.
- At one end of the branch we fix the resulting strand with a thread for money. We spread the branch with glue and begin to wind the branch with a bast. On the opposite side, we also fix the end with a thread for money.
- Next, we take a plastic ball and insert the "trunk" of the tree into the hole.
- Brown threads begin to glue the ball on the entire surface, pre-greased with glue. You can paste strands from the brush for whitening instead of threads.
- We start to glue the ball with coffee beans with different sides upward - groove up or down. For each seed, apply a transparent glue. Instead, you can use liquid nails or a glue gun.
- We glue the second layer of grains on top. Also alternate sides with a groove and no.
- Now you need to make a pot for the tree. Cut off a small amount of bast from the brush. We take a glass, grease its bottom with glue and put it on the strands of bast. All the remaining hairs that extend beyond the edge of the glass must be cut off.
- We take the remaining bast of the brush and cut it in length by 3 cm longer than the height of the glass. Lateral surface of the glass spread with glue and attach strands of bast.
- We tie the bottom of the glass with twine, we cut off the excess.
- The tips at the top of the glass are also trimmed so that they protrude above the glass by 2 cm.
- Using a universal adhesive we make a funnel made of strands of bast.
- We paste the trunk of the tree into the resulting funnel.
- Pour sand, gypsum or foam on the bottom of the glass.
- With the help of scissors, carefully move aside the "fringe", insert a funnel with a tree trunk inside the glass.
- We tie the upper part of the glass with a string. The tree of happiness is ready.
