Today I want to tell you how to make a topiary from organza yourself . Doing we are a topiary in the shape of a red heart. Of course, you can use other colors and shapes, but the principle of operation is the same.

For work we need:
- adhesive gun and rods to it;
- stapler and staples to it;
- organza;
- the foam plastic form of the heart, or a piece of foam (we'll cut it ourselves);
- felt;
- wooden skewers (you can corillus);
- gypsum;
- stationery knife, scissors, ruler;
- any decorations-beads, ribbons, bugs (if desired);
- paint gouache or watercolor (any) and a sponge;
- do not forget a good mood!
Next, I'll tell you in detail how to make a topiary from organza:
- First of all, we cut out the heart, I take the usual building foam plastic - its thickness is 2 cm. We paint on the foam heart, it is possible by the template, it is possible by hand - to whom it is convenient. We take a clerical knife and cut it out.
- Now we must paint it red, so that nowhere else between the organza is white visible, and everything was the same color. Take our paint and paint the heart with a sponge, remove it to a ventilated place, so that it will dry well.
- While our heart - the blank dries, we will tackle the organza. To do this, we take a roll and cut the strips 8 cm wide. The number of strips can be different, it all depends on the density of their gluing. From the roll I spent 1/3 part.
- Now take our strips and cut them into squares as well by 8 cm, so that the square we had 8x8.
- When everything is cut, we begin to do the trimming. To make one end, we need to take 2 squares, put them one on another like this
- Now bend it in half and get this.
- Then what we got, bend it in half, fix it in the corner with a stapler. Stapler should be fixed in the corner, so that the end was magnificent. So we do with all the squares. We will get a lot of trimming.
- For the time being, we will postpone them and return to our foam plastic blank, it has already dried. We need to make a barrel for the heart, for this we take wooden skewers and stick them into our hearts from below. The quantity we take, which we like about the thickness. I took 10 skewers. To skewers do not fall out of the heart, we can squeeze out to the lei from above, fix them in place. By the opposite end, the rods can disintegrate, but it does not matter when we plant our topiary, they will fix it themselves.
- Let's get down to the most important business - stick our trimmings to the heart. Glue it is better to start with the edges, and then the middle. We put the glue on the very corner, where we have a staple, and we glue it on the base with this little corner. Thus, we are already doing this.
- Now we fill the middle of our heart, try to put the endings closer to each other, nothing if they stand not straight, but slightly to the side. After gluing it will look very good!
- When we paste all the trimmings, that's what we get
- Finishing almost the stage is landing, I will do on the "rock", so I called it. We take our plaster, make the gruel thicker, it will dry faster.
- Now we form what we want from the gypsum and put it on a flat surface. We sit there our topiary heart from organza and fix it either near the wall, or any objects that we have at hand. We do this so that it does not skew, but it is dry exactly.
- When our plaster is dry, we zadekoriruem bottom with felt. This can also be done with the help of sisal, or simply plant a tree in a pot.
- We take felt, we look, approximately, how many it is necessary for us (with a reserve) to close all gypsum, we cut off.
- Now we collect it all at the trunk and tie it with a satin ribbon.
