Technique of embroidery with beads

The needlewomen have long been using beads to decorate items with a pattern and to create real paintings. But in order to create a beautiful drawing you need to know how to do it.

It is executed as follows:

1. Beaded string on a needle.
2. We make the stitch up diagonally, sticking a needle into the hole closest to the bead.
3. From the wrong side, make the stitch vertically down and draw the thread to the front side.
4. Again string the bead and repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. We do this until the end of the series, the thread does not break there, but goes to the next row. In the second row, the vertical stitch is executed from the bottom up, and the diagonal stitch is from the top to the bottom.

To embroider beads in this way, you should use special schemes. You can also use the scheme for embroidering a cross, because there too, the picture is divided into squares.

How to sew a pattern with beads on fabric ?

In case you need to make a separate drawing on the fabric from different beads, then you should use the seam "back needle", it is also called "arched".

It is carried out according to the following scheme:

To perform the work we need:

• a pattern applied mirror on fabric or organza;
• beads;
• sewing accessories.

1. Figure pinned to the main fabric from the wrong side.
2. We type on 2 beads, we make a stitch forward, and we pull out a needle there where we started.
3. We pass the thread through 2 beads.
4. We perform all the embroidery in this technique. From the wrong side, it will look quite neat, too.

As a border of a pattern made with beads, you can use the following seam:

1. First we make a knot on the main thread.
2. Then string the beads.
3. Make a small stitch.
4. And we continue to alternate: knot, bead, stitch.

Master-class: technique of performing volumetric embroidery with beads

Sometimes it becomes necessary to make an existing drawing volumetric (for example, a flower).

To do this, you should:

• with the stitch "needle back" we sew the contour of the petals;
• on the edge of the middle, we first string a large bead;
• then 8-10 small beads and stick the needle back into the big one;
• The needle is displayed next to the next.
