The ancient city of Santa Susanna is in the province of Costa Brava , an hour's drive from Barcelona. Most of the sights of Santa Susanna belong to the Middle Ages, when ancient castles, chapels, stone houses and mills were erected. The Chapel of St. Isidra has a modern architecture. Every year on May 15, a fraternal dinner is held here, anyone can attend. In another city chapel of the Holy Christ it is customary to pray and put candles on safety on the roads. Until now, Santa Susanna has preserved an old flour milling mill: part of a water pipe and an arch that brought water to the structure.
In Santa Susanna, there are several city parks and botanical gardens. The ideal place for a family holiday is the Park in Kolomer. Drowning in greenery, the territory is divided into zones with attractions for children, sports grounds and alleys for leisurely walks. In the park near the fountain, Boter provides a convenient place for picnics. Here, exotic plants grow, and mineral water springs from the ground.
