How to make a handmade watermelon?

The following instruction will help you, together with your son or daughter, make a shark mouth out of watermelon, which will become a magnificent decoration of the festive table:

  1. Prepare a fairly large ripe watermelon and a large sharp knife.
  2. Wash the berries thoroughly under running water without using detergents and dry with a towel. Twist the watermelon in your hands and determine on which side it has the most even color. This side will become a facial for your future shark.
  3. On the opposite side of the berry cut the piece so that you can put a berries on this place. It is better to cut a little at an angle - so you will get the most natural shark, which seems to come up.
  4. Set the berry on the cut surface and plot the contours of the future shark with a marker.
  5. On the marked lines with a sharp knife, cut out the shark mouth.
  6. If there are any lines on the peel, gently wipe them off with a damp cloth.
