Soup with green peas

Green peas are an excellent useful product. containing vegetable fibers, protein, carbohydrates, B vitamins, as well as A, C, H and phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, calcium, iron, magnesium and chlorine compounds. This product, like all legumes, is indispensable for fasting and vegetarians.

Green peas are used in cooking different dishes, including soups. Soups, in which young green peas are one of the main ingredients, should be included in food for those who want to gain harmony.

In the season, you can use young green peas, during the rest of the year, we will save popular canned food or frozen green peas (with a shock freeze, vegetables lose only a minimum of vitamins).

Boil peas in water or meat broth for 10-12 minutes. Slightly cool, extract peas and we rub with a blender. Add a little broth, season with vegetable oil and hot red pepper. We poured into soup cups, sprinkled with lemon juice. Sprinkle with chopped herbs and garlic. We serve separately or with meat (boiled, smoked, baked).

If you add a little mashed potatoes (gram 200-300) to this soup, we will get potato soup with green peas (this option does not contribute to slenderness, so eat this soup in the morning).

Recipe for cream soup of green peas

Ingredients:

All vegetables are cleaned, if necessary, cut and cook for 20 minutes in 1-1.5 liters of water. If the peas are canned, we will add it to the soup for 2 minutes until ready, if frozen or fresh, then for 5-8 minutes.

Let's extract the vegetables, cool a little and blend the blender to homogeneity (in principle, you can cook not cream soup, but the usual, only then you have to cut vegetables for ordinary soup).

We return the mashed potatoes to the pan with the broth, in which the vegetables were cooked (you can reduce the amount). Fill the soup with a mixture of curry and olive oil. You can add 1 tbsp. spoon of tomato paste. Let's cut the soup into soup cups and sprinkle with chopped greens and garlic. It's good to serve such a soup classic unsweetened live yogurt or sour cream.

Using the same recipe, you can prepare a more hearty chicken soup with green peas.

In this version, first cook the chicken breast (gram 300) for 20-30 minutes in 1-2 liters of water, and then add all the remaining ingredients (see the recipe above). The bulb can be discarded. If you want a cream soup - merge with a blender (or only purify vegetables, and the meat can be cut into pieces).

Well, and another recipe for a very tasty soup with canned green peas, as they say, in a hurry. This recipe, definitely, will appeal to busy and lonely people, but you should not cook it more often 1-2 times a month - smoked meat is not useful.

Soup with canned green peas

Ingredients:

Cut off a piece of brisket (or bacon) skin and a piece of fat. We cut into cracklings and in a frying pan, we heat the fat on medium-high heat. Sauté the chopped onion and sweet pepper.

The rest of the (brisket or whatever you have) is cut with short thin strips across the layers of meat and fat. Boil for 8-10 minutes in the smallest amount of water. Open the jar with green peas and add to the soup with the liquid. Also add the fried onions and sweet peppers. Season with spices. Immediately before eating sprinkle with chopped herbs and garlic. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
