Moving Relays for Children in the Summer Street

Active relay races with elements of sports games that are held in the summer on the street, bring up a team spirit in children and allow them to splash out a sea of energy that has been accumulating throughout the school year. For boys and girls of about the same age, the following options are best:

  1. "Three balls." The captain of each team receives 3 balls - football, basketball and volleyball. At the same time, after capturing all of them, the participant of the relay race starts moving in the given direction. Having reached a certain point, he touches a special mark, and then goes to his team to transfer balls to the next player. Keep inventory during the movement you can, whatever you want, the main thing is that no one ball fell to the ground. If this happens, the child should return to the beginning of the distance and repeat the task from the very beginning.
  2. "Three jumps." Teams line up at a distance of 10 meters from the set point, in which the hoop and rope are pre-arranged. At the whistle leading the captains of the teams begin to move - they run to the place with inventory, pick up the rope, jump through it 3 times, and then go back. The next player must also reach the desired point and jump 3 times, but not through the rope, but through the hoop. This is how the sports equipment alternates until the last player completes the task.
  3. "Surrendered - sit down!". All players of each team line up in the column. Ahead is the captain, who is holding a volleyball in his hands. With the beginning of the game, the captains leave the column and stand, turning to face her, at a distance of 5 meters. After the next signal, they throw the ball to the first player of their team, who, having received the projectile, must return it to the captain and sit down. The participant, who unerringly coped with the task, remains squatting, and the game continues with the other guys. If one of the children was unable to catch the ball or did not reach the captain, he must stand until he has completed his part of the assignment. When all the players of one of the teams are squatting, the captain raises the ball over his head, which means the end of the relay race. The guys who could cope with the task faster than others win.
  4. «The Magic Hoop». At a distance of 25 meters from each other, two long parallel lines are drawn. Each participant of the relay must roll a large hoop on the ground from one feature to the other, then return and transfer it to the next player. The guys who managed to cope faster than others win.
  5. "Get in the ring!". Participants of each team line up and stand 5 meters from the basketball ring. At 2 meters from them lies the ball. On the leader's whistle the captain runs towards the ball, throws him into the ring, and then returns to his former place. So each player must take the ball, hold a winning blow, and then re-insert it.
