Pineapples in puff pastry

It is enough to have a pack of puff pastry on duty, a can of canned pineapple, and you can surprise your guests with a delicious and fragrant pastry - pineapple pie or pineapple in a puff pastry - for half an hour. Externally, the delicacy resembles chrysanthemums, which in itself is original, and the taste of crispy crust and juicy fruit will not leave anyone indifferent.

The highlight of this recipe is that the pineapple is wrapped in strips of puff pastry. You can do this in two ways: overlay them, so that the fruit is completely covered with a test or leave a gap between the strips. Defreeze the dough and roll it out with a rolling pin into the layer, then cut the stripes to a thickness of not more than 1 cm. From the indicated amount of the test, you should get about 20 strips. By the way, instead of cherry you can use any berries: blueberries, currants or cranberries.

Ready to bake powder sprinkled with sugar powder, spread on a dish and served to the table.
