Periodicity of contractions

A perverse woman may be misled by introducing false, some kind of training fights. They can be observed already from the 20th week of pregnancy. Typically, these bouts are less pronounced, and not painful at all, and also have irregular character and short duration. That is why, in order to distinguish them from the real ones, every pregnant woman should know how often the prenatal contractions begin.

What are the main signs of prenatal labor?

The main distinguishing feature of true fights is that they have a clear periodicity. Each woman manifests themselves in different ways. In most cases, these are aching, pulling pains in the lower abdomen and in the lumbar spine, which are worn, so-called, girdling.

How does the frequency of labor during the delivery vary?

At the very beginning of labor, the pregnant woman feels the contractions through a fairly large time interval. At the same time, pain is moderately expressed. With the increase in the frequency of labor before delivery, the pain intensifies.

In the generic process, it is conventionally allocated 3 stages:

The latent (initial) stage takes approximately 7-8 hours. In this case, the duration of the fight itself ranges from 30 to 45 seconds. The periodicity of the first bouts is on the average 5 minutes, i.ะต. every 5 minutes there is a contraction of the uterus and its neck is slightly opened a few centimeters.

In the active stage, which lasts for 3-5 hours, the duration of the bout is increased to 60 seconds. Periodicity of labor during labor is 2-4 minutes.

The transition stage is the shortest - 30-90 minutes. Contractions are longer - 70-100 seconds. Also, the gap between the two fights is also reduced.
