How to develop non-standard thinking?

Now, when the stereotyped thoughts, stamps in speech and other products of our obsolete one-type education prevail everywhere, it is very difficult to find the source of inspiration and see the everyday reality from a new side, previously uncharted.

All millionaires and outstanding, successful people always say that it is important to learn to think uniquely, to abandon the usual frames and templates, since only such a path is suitable for major achievements.

In order to develop this valuable quality, you need to regularly give yourself riddles and tasks for non-standard thinking, because only regular training leads to visible results. If every day your brain will solve several puzzles of this kind, then in normal situations you will start to argue with time in the same way as before. Exercises for the development of non-standard thinking

Consider a few exercises that you should practice in order to make your thoughts more creative and the brain gave you unusual options.

  1. Exercise on flexibility and productivity of thinking. You take any object. Absolutely any - for example, a mug with a chipped handle, a flower pot, a fork. Five minutes and during this time, think up the maximum amount of application for this object. In addition to frankly stupid answers, absolutely everything is taken into account. It is best to practice in a group or at least two together, so that the spirit of competition is present.
  2. Exercise at the association. Take a couple of completely different objects. For example, a window and an adhesive tape, a door and the ground, a teddy bear and shoes. Five minutes and find as many common signs as possible for these items. With each subsequent implementation of this exercise, you will find it easier and easier to find similarities.
  3. Exercise for description. Imagine an object or person you know well. Mark 3 minutes and without description orally or in writing describe the selected object, expressing in passing their thoughts and feelings for him.
  4. Non-standard tasks. Take one of the tasks (or think up by analogy yourself) and come up with the maximum number of possible solutions. They can be: crab + swallow =, ice + chair =, 2 * 2 = .... The more you give answers, the higher your ingenuity.
  5. Exercise for description. Take any pair of opposite words: black - white, winter - summer, cold - heat, and think up to them as much as possible describing their adjectives. For example, darkness (cloudy, mysterious, not bright) and light (bright, angelic, snowy).
  6. Exercise for thinking. Think of any standard situation. For example, "Mom came home from work," "the kettle began to boil," "the dog barked." Five minutes and figure out the maximum number of continuations of the sentence - the more interesting, the better.

If you once trained or train muscles, then you know that you can get the result only on condition of regular training. This law works equally well for both the body and the brain. Do not wait for results after three exercises - do it every day or at least several times a week, and in a month you will see the results.
