Leave lemoncello to insist in coolness and darkness for a period of 40 to 60 days or until the lemon zest completely discolor. During the infusion, the container with vodka must be shaken weekly.

After the end of the drink's infusion, cook the syrup using water, lemon juice and sugar. When the crystals dissolve, cool the syrup and pour it into a bottle of limoncello. After repeated shaking, leave the drink infused for another week, then strain and store in the cold.

To make the taste and color of limoncello more diverse, try using not only lemon zest at the base of the recipe, but also other citrus fruits, for example, tangerines.
