Make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved in the water. After the syrup boils, pour the soaked rosehip into the pan and cook it for another 5-7 minutes. Add the remaining, beforehand brought to boiling water, and pour the dried apples. Stir well and leave to simmer to a low heat. When the compote boils, remove it from the heat and leave to infuse for 30 minutes. Then strain through a sieve, add the lemon juice and your compote from the dry hips is ready.

Compote from a dogrose for the winter

Winter compote from the dogrose is prepared at a rate of 1: 1, that is, per kilogram of fresh berries you use a liter of water. You also calculate the amount of sugar and citric acid needed. To a liter of water, 4 g of acid and 400 g of sugar.
