In addition to its taste qualities, ginger ale has many useful qualities. It is recommended to use in case of stomach upset, it also soothes cough and sore throat. As mentioned above, ginger ale is popular in non-alcoholic cocktails. This helps those people who do not drink alcohol, but also do not want to fight back from the company. How to cook ginger ale at home? We take fresh ginger, peel it, rub it on a large grater and, without draining the formed juice, mix well with sugar. Then add the finely grated lemon peel, mix and squeeze the resulting mixture with something heavy for about 20 seconds. Next, let the cleared lemons pass through the juicer and add all the juice to our mixture. Fill with carbonated water and let the drink infuse for about 10 minutes. Then, carefully try and if it turns out too sour, then add a little sugar, and if sweetly - then diluted with lemon juice. Filter the finished drink and pour on the glasses. On top decorate with mint sprigs. In the summer days, you can add ice slices to the drink.

How to make alcoholic ginger ale? So, take a clean 2-liter bottle of plastic and using a funnel, fill it with sugar and dry yeast. Then take fresh ginger root, clean and rub on a small grater. You should get about 2 tbsp. spoons of ginger puree. Carefully shift grated ginger into a faceted measuring glass and set aside.

Take the lemon, squeeze the juice out of it and add it to the glass with ginger. Thoroughly mix the contents of the glass until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then add a little beforehand boiled, but chilled water and mix well. If you still want to make non-alcoholic ale, then at this step just add honey or sugar, mix and pour on the glasses, decorating with fresh mint. But to get alcoholic or fermented ginger ale the contents of the glass carefully poured into a bottle with yeast and sugar. We close everything with a lid and shake it well until the sugar dissolves completely. Then pour the water in the bottle, not adding up to the neck about 2 cm. Now put our drink in a warm place and wait for 2 days, while the ale leaves. The degree of fermentation can be checked by the following method: gently press the bottle with your finger and as soon as it becomes rigid and does not become pressurized, then fermentation is completed. Usually this process takes from 24 to 48 hours. After that, the alcoholic ginger ale is ready. Before drinking, the beverage must be filtered through a strainer or gauze. Another nuance, before you open the bottle with ginger ale, it must be cooled well beforehand in the refrigerator, and then the drink simply spills out.

We pour out the alcoholic drink into glasses, decorate with mint, cinnamon or orange peel and serve it on the table.
