Vaginal biocenosis

Under the biocenosis is understood as a system of relationships between organisms that share a common territory. In microbial systems, the term "microbiocenosis" is used.

Vaginal microbiocenosis

The biocenosis of the vagina occurs after the birth of the girl. At birth, the vagina is sterile. After a day, various microorganisms appear. In the future vaginal biocenosis is formed mainly by lactobacilli. Under the action of estrogens, obtained by the girl from her mother, an acidic medium is generated in the vagina. Later, the girl and woman begin to develop their own estrogens, stimulating the existence of an acidic environment of the vagina. The microorganisms that enter the vagina are quickly depressed by the lactobacilli living in the best conditions for themselves.

The causes of vaginal microbiocenosis

The equilibrium system of microbes inside the vagina can vary for various reasons:

  4. The effect of changes in hormonal activity in menopause or diseases of sexual glands.
  5. Chronic inflammation of the genital organs.
  6. Frequent syringing .
  7. High frequency of change of sexual partners.

Treatment of vaginal microbiocenosis disorders

To restore the balance of microflora, vaginal probiotics and vaginal eubiotics are used. These are the formulations containing lactobacilli. The funds are applied to vaginal tampons or are administered in the form of vaginal suppositories.
