Lemon sherbet

Scherbet with lemon can represent both a refreshing drink and a frozen dessert - both are not as relevant in the summer. We will consider possible sherbet recipes with lemon, which will come to the rescue in case you are tormented by heat or thirst.

Lemon sherbet - recipe

Before you make a lemon sherbet, use a coffee grinder or a powerful blender to beat up sugar, salt and lemon zest. If you beat the mass in a blender, then after mixing the dry ingredients, start pouring lemon juice, water and vodka into the bowl of the device, if you do not have a blender, then simply combine all the ingredients until the sugar crystals dissolve. The resulting solution is allowed to cool for 4 hours, after which we pour it into the ice cream and prepare sherbet.

If you do not have ice cream, freeze the sherbet directly in the freezer, stirring the contents of the container every 30-40 minutes

Ice cream lemon sherbet with basil

Ingredients:

Preparation

Mix the water with sugar in a sauté pan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly with a whisk, after which we reduce the heat and continue cooking for another 5 minutes, also continuously stirring until the sugar dissolves. In the resulting syrup, add crushed leaves of basil and remove the mixture from the fire, cooling it to room temperature. The cooled syrup is placed in the refrigerator for 2 hours, and then filter through a sieve and mix the liquid with lemon zest. Fill the syrup in the ice cream maker and prepare a sherbet in it, then spread the mixture into the freezer and cool for 2 hours.

If there is no ice cream maker, simply mix the sherbet in the freezer every 30-40 minutes.

Drink lemon sherbet

Ingredients:

Preparation

First, cook the syrup, combining the sugar with a glass of water in the saucepan. As soon as the sugar granules dissolve, remove the syrup from the fire, mix it with lemon juice and chill until warm. Then we dilute the sugar syrup with ice water and put the drink in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. We serve sherbet with lemon slices and ice cubes. Pleasant cooling!
